They have photo objects with clipping paths, and photos available in three sizes. If the collection covers the areas you need, the Photos.com system could save you thousands of dollars compared to services that sell one photo at a time. Cameras & Photography EquipmentI have been buying cameras and lenses from Adorama for over 15 years. They have a huge selection of photography gear, and everything is almost always in stock. Adorama's prices are so low that sometimes the equipment is cheaper then in the county where the equipment is manufactured! A few words of warning about all New York camera stores. Most sell both "grey market" and USA items. Grey market is a product that was intended to be sold in another county, and does not have a USA warranty. Adorama sells some grey market products, but will offer you both grey market and USA warranted products, and list the price differences. Many New York camera stores sells grey market products, but do not tell you that you do not have a warranty. Also note that all New York camera stores have sales people that work on commission, and they make most of their money on "add ons". When I was young and innocent I bought a camera from a New York store (not Adorama). The salesperson asked "Would you like batteries with that? It won't work without batteries. This was followed with "Would you like a camera case with that? After selling me a camera case, strap, batteries, cleaning kit, and so forth, I looked at the advertisement again. The salesperson was selling me items that already came with the camera for free! This money would go in his pocket. If you have a hard time resisting sales pitches, make your order on the website only, and send an email if you have a question - it's safer!
Ritz CameraI recently bought a Nikon digital camera at Ritz Camera, because it was over $100 cheaper than my regular local photography store, and because I needed it right away for a photo shoot that I was doing. Ritz Camera is unusual in that:
Digital PrintsOfoto, Inc., a subsidiary of Eastman Kodak Company, is the leading online digital photo developing service. The Ofoto.com site provides consumers with a secure and easy way to view, store and share their photos with friends and family and get real Kodak prints of their pictures. The site also provides free editing and creative tools. I used to get free film from Seattle Film works back when I started shooting 35mm. I would send them a roll of film to process, and they would send back a free roll of film with the prints. Now 25 years later, the company is known at PhotoWorks.com, a leader in digital online photos. In addition to high quality digital prints, PhotoWorks.com features photo cards, books, albums, calendars, and keepsakes, online photo sharing and of course traditional film processing. Watch for monthly specials such as 10 cent prints, free photo books and other frequent promotions.
